There are big fans of our downloadable media in our patron base. Though the learning curve for browsing, checking out and downloading this collection is steeper than for our more traditional collections, many patrons learn the process in order to have access to a large selection of materials, sometimes without waiting in a hold queue. I find this collection fascinating, though I don't have a compatible player. While I wouldn't call myself a luddite, I'm still checking out books on CD and Playaways! Compatability with I-Pods and Apple products can't come soon enough!
