YouTube, Hulu and Fancast

On YouTube, I found a very amusing Monty Python clip featuring a gorilla interviewing for a position as a librarian. And, I am embarassed to say, I'd never seen any clips of bookcart drill teams!

I might use Hula and Fancast, if I had the time. Good selection, nice to know that this content is legal to view, apparently doesn't violate any copyright laws. Would work nicely with wireless I-pod or laptop and a comfortable spot to relax. I liked the clean look of Hulu.

Library staff could share these sites with patrons wanting an expanded selection of movies and streaming content.

Thanks so much for your recent post mentioning Fancast. We think not only the offerings, but the ease of use makes it a great resource for your readers. They may be intrested to see the really astounding list of TV shows up on the site, full-length and free. It's at http://www.fancast.com/full_episodes
There's also some great movies playing (eg. "Fever Pitch" with Drew Barrymore and Jimmy Fallon, and, again, they are free. Please don't hesitate to let us know of any ways we can improve the site.
Cheers,
Jim (for Fancast)
